Life in California!

So… This post is way long overdue! We have officially been here 2 months, and have been trying to get things figured out all over again. It still feels like the move to Colorado was easier for some reason;)

It’s been awesome to have family out, especially my little sis Megan. She took the gamble to come out when we are still figuring our way around, but it was really awesome! We took her to see tide pools, a sunset in Malibu, and even down to San Diego for a day.

In a few days I’ll be leaving for Florida for 2 weeks, than I’ll go on to Colorado for a week. Can’t wait to catch up with everyone that I have been missing so much!

Lauren and Scott got married in Glendora, California! Part II

Here’s the 2nd half to Lauren & Scott’s beautiful California wedding! If you missed Part I, be sure to check it out.

The golf course at the Glendora Country Club was the perfect background for their ceremony. The light was just incredible and we were able to hang around with Lauren & Scott afterward to enjoy the light, the evening, and get some great shots!

Lauren and Scott got married in Glendora, California! Part I

This is my first California wedding since I have moved here about a month ago, so I’m really excited!

This post is only the Part I to their wedding day because there is so much that I want to share. After their “First Look”, we had a couple hours to hang out in the cute little town of Glendora, located in northern Los Angeles. Lauren built so much time onto the day for pictures that we were able to visit lots of fun places like an old nursery, and even get the bride and groom in a tree! Lauren and Scott are such an amazing and super fun couple to be around, the time that we spent with them went by so fast.

Part II will pick up where we left off, their ceremony on the golf course at the Glendora Country Club.

Fantastic job Monica! Looks like Lauren had a beautiful wedding and as usual you caught the very essence and personalities of everyone. I love your work! Makes me want to get married again just to have even more pictures done by you as you make the process in and of itself so much fun.

Horses, dogs, amazing light, and the Jones Family!

Just before I left Colorado, I drove out to the countryside in Parker to meet the Jones Family. They are so much fun to be around and have lots of super friendly animals – that made the session even more fun! With so much going on all the time, there is never a dull moment with them. Going through all of their images really makes me miss Colorado!

Monica – WOW! These are genius! I love the artistic way you captured my family and our animals. Thank you so, so much!

Bubbles, stars, and the Lewis Family!

This is officially my first post from California! We’re sort of moved in, unpacking the boxes, and trying to figure out our lives here. With that said, I am really looking forward to escaping California and getting back to Colorado from time to time. For all of my clients in Colorado, I will be back and am still booking weddings and sessions there!

This is another addition to “Baby’s First Year” for the Lewis family. This very special series has been so rewarding to photograph and see this amazing family grow. It’s hard to believe that I only have a couple sessions with them until it comes to a close.
